Wrap-around case packers
A wrap-around case packer folds a flat corrugated blank around a group of products and glues it shut, so the case fits tightly and usually uses less board than a ready-made box. These machines run 15 to 65 cases per minute for bottles, cans and multipacks. They are built by our manufacturing partners and sold, shipped and supported by Lion Packing Systems.
Which wrap-around packer fits your line?
Wrap-around case packers · half-bracket and side-entry
Four compact packers for 15–23 cases per minute: the half-bracket LP-ZX-10T, the side-entry LP-ZX-15T, and the drop-type LP-ZX-20T and LP-ZX-30T, where the product group drops onto the blank. All run on three-phase 380 V power with 24 V DC controls and need air at 0.4–0.6 MPa.

Wrap-around case packers · straight type
In straight-type packers the products travel in a straight line while the blank is folded around them, which allows 26–65 cases per minute. Specifications for the LP-ZX-35TB, LP-ZX-50T, LP-ZX-60TB and LP-ZX-70TB are available on request.

Wrap-around case packing: common questions
What is a wrap-around case packer?
Instead of loading products into a ready-made box, it groups the products, folds a flat corrugated blank around them and glues the flaps. The case fits the products tightly, which gives a stable pallet load and usually uses less board.
Which products can be packed?
Bottles, cans, jars and shrink-wrapped multipacks are the most common, as well as cartons and trays. The machine is set up for your product group and case size, so send us both and we will choose the model.
How fast are the machines?
From 15 cases per minute on the side-entry LP-ZX-15T to 65 cases per minute on the straight-type LP-ZX-70TA, depending on the product and case size.
