Industrial and palletizing robots
Robots handle the heavy and repetitive work at the end of a packing line: stacking cases on pallets, loading cases and picking products from a conveyor. The range covers industrial robots with 20–600 kg payloads, 4-axis palletizing robots with 3,150 mm reach and spider (delta) robots that pick light products at up to 80 cycles a minute. Robots come with grippers designed for your product. They are built by our manufacturing partners and sold, shipped and supported by Lion Packing Systems.
Which robot fits your line?
Industrial robots · 20–600 kg
Articulated robots for case packing, loading and heavy handling, with ±0.5 mm repeatability. The YSR-2-20-C hangs from the ceiling to save floor space, and the floor-mounted YSR-2-600-F lifts up to 600 kg at 3,150 mm reach. Specifications for the YSR-2-120-F and YSR-2-220-F are available on request.
| Model | Payload (kg) | Reach (mm) | Mounting | Repeatability | Robot weight (kg) | Footprint (mm) | Power (kW) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| YSR-2-20-C | 20 | 1105 | Ceiling | ±0.5 mm | 155 | 320 × 440 | 3.0 |
| YSR-2-60-F | 20–60 | 1800 | Floor | ±0.5 mm | 200 | 700 × 700 | 5.0 |
| YSR-2-600-F | 600 | 3150 | Floor | ±0.5 mm | 1400 | 700 × 700 | 15.4 |

Palletizing robots · 80–500 kg
Four-axis robots built for palletizing: the base turns ±180° and the wrist ±360°, so they stack cases, bags and crates in any pattern. All have 3,150 mm reach and ±0.5 mm repeatability, from the 80 kg LPR-4-80-F to the 500 kg LPR-4-500-F. The wall-mounted LPRS-4-10-W is a compact 10 kg robot with 600 or 800 mm reach.
| Model | Payload (kg) | Reach (mm) | Mounting | Repeatability | Robot weight (kg) | Footprint (mm) | Power (kW) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| LPR-4-80-F | 80 | 3150 | Floor | ±0.5 mm | 1400 | 900 × 900 | 8.7 |
| LPR-4-120-F | 120 | 3150 | Floor | ±0.5 mm | 1400 | 900 × 900 | 11 |
| LPR-4-220-F | 220 | 3150 | Floor | ±0.5 mm | 1600 | 900 × 900 | 15 |
| LPR-4-300-F | 300 | 3150 | Floor | ±0.5 mm | 1700 | 900 × 900 | 16.6 |
| LPR-4-500-F | 500 | 3150 | Floor | ±0.5 mm | 2210 | 950 × 950 | 26.9 |
| LPRS-4-10-W | 10 | 600 / 800 | Wall | ±0.5 mm | 50 | 230 × 300 | 3.0 |
Spider (delta) robots
Ceiling-mounted delta robots that pick light products from a conveyor and place them in trays or cases at up to 80 cycles a minute, with ±0.3 mm repeatability. LPRD-4 models have a fourth, rotating axis to turn the product; LPRD-3 models have three axes. Three working volumes are available, and each model comes in a lighter build or a heavier cast version.
| Model | Axes | Payload (kg) | Speed | Cycle time | Working volume Ø × H (mm) | Weight (kg) | Power (kW) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| LPRD-4-01-C | 4 | 1 | 80 cycles/min | 0.5 s at 0.5 kg | 800 × 250 / 1130 × 300 / 1350 × 350 | 60 (cast: 125) | 2.9 |
| LPRD-4-03-C | 4 | 3 | 80 cycles/min | 0.6 s at 1 kg | 800 × 250 / 1130 × 300 / 1350 × 350 | 85 (cast: 145) | 5.3 |
| LPRD-3-01-C | 3 | 1 | 80 cycles/min | 0.5 s at 0.5 kg | 800 × 250 / 1130 × 300 / 1350 × 350 | 52 (cast: 115) | 2.4 |
| LPRD-3-03-C | 3 | 3 | 80 cycles/min | 0.6 s at 1 kg | 800 × 250 / 1130 × 300 / 1350 × 350 | 72 (cast: 135) | 4.5 |

Robots: common questions
Palletizing robot or industrial robot?
A 4-axis palletizing robot keeps the gripper level and moves fast between the conveyor and the pallet, which is all palletizing needs. A 6-axis industrial robot can also tilt and turn the product, for case packing, machine loading and other handling.
What is a spider (delta) robot used for?
Delta robots hang above a conveyor and pick light products such as candy, bakery, sachets or small packs, placing them in trays, cartons or flow wrapper infeeds at up to 80 cycles a minute.
Do the robots come with grippers?
Yes. The gripper is designed for your product, whether cases, bags, crates or loose items. Tell us what you handle and we confirm the gripper and everything supplied with the robot.
How does Lion support machines built by partner factories?
Lion Packing Systems is the sales agent for these machines. We check the model against your product, pack and speed, manage the order and shipping, and provide installation guidance, training and spare parts in Spanish and English.
