Pallet stretch wrappers
Stretch wrappers wind LLDPE film around a loaded pallet to hold the cases together for storage and shipping. The range covers turntable wrappers for loads up to 2,000 kg, models with a top presser or built-in weighing, rotary-arm wrappers for heavy or unstable loads, a battery-powered robot wrapper, a forklift wrapper, a case wrapper and orbital wrappers for long products. They are built by our manufacturing partners and sold, shipped and supported by Lion Packing Systems.
Which stretch wrapper fits your pallets?
Automatic pallet stretch wrappers
Turntable wrappers that turn the pallet at up to 10 rpm while the film carriage travels up and down the mast. The MH-FG-1000A has a mechanical film brake; the MH-FG-2000 has power pre-stretch, which stretches the film before it reaches the load and uses less film. The MH-FG-2000W has a horseshoe-shaped turntable that a pallet truck can drive into, with forks up to 600 mm wide. All take LLDPE film up to 500 mm wide on rolls up to 280 mm in diameter, and the wrapping height is the mast height minus 400 mm.

Automatic pallet wrappers with top presser
A top presser comes down on the load while it is wrapped, so light, tall or loose stacks stay in place. The MH-FG-2000F is pneumatic, runs on 220 or 110 V at 50/60 Hz and needs air at 0.4–0.6 MPa. The MH-FG-2000C1 and C3 have a 450 mm presser plate (optional 600 or 800 mm) and share the same listed specifications.

Pallet stretch wrappers with weighing
The MH-FG-2000P weighs the pallet on the turntable to 100 g while it wraps. The MH-FG-2000D has a 2,000 mm roller turntable at 450 mm or higher, so pallets roll in and out on a conveyor line. Paired with the MH-FG-2000RC, it also lays a top sheet of PE film up to 1,800 mm wide over loads up to 1,200 × 1,200 mm.

Pallet and rotary-arm stretch wrappers
On these machines the film arm turns around the pallet and the load stays still, which suits heavy, tall or unstable loads and in-line production. The MH-FG-2300A turns at up to 22 rpm, the MH-FG-2300B wraps loads up to a 3,650 mm mast, and the MH-FG-2400 is a fixed rotary-arm wrapper.

Forklift, top-presser and case stretch wrappers
The MH-FG-700A is built on a pallet truck: it lifts the pallet on 540 mm forks and wraps it with a rotating arm, so it can wrap anywhere in the warehouse. The MH-FG-800B and MH-FG-900B wrap single cases or small loads up to 60 kg; the 800B has a pneumatic top presser and the 900B has power pre-stretch for packs up to 1,200 × 400 × 850 mm.

Pallet robot and orbital wrappers
The MH-CTP-600 is a battery-powered robot that drives around the pallet at 90 m/min, so pallets of any size from 600 × 600 mm can be wrapped where they stand; one 7-hour charge wraps about 200 pallets. Orbital wrappers pass a film ring through the product as it moves, for long items such as pipes, profiles, doors and panels: the MH-CTR-060 for packs up to 550 mm wide, the MH-CTR-200BD up to 1,750 mm with 250% pre-stretch.

Pallet and horizontal fabric wrappers
The MH-FG-2100 has a large 2,000 mm turntable for loads up to 1,500 kg. The MH-FG-2200 wraps fabric and film rolls lying horizontally on two rollers: rolls of 500–1,200 mm in diameter and 400–2,200 mm long, up to 1,500 kg. Several film carriages are available for the pallet wrappers, from simple brake carriages to two-stage pre-stretch and double-motor carriages.

Stretch wrapping: common questions
What is power pre-stretch?
Two motor-driven rollers in the film carriage turn at different speeds and stretch the film before it reaches the pallet. The film holds the load tighter and each roll wraps more pallets than with a brake carriage, which only stretches the film by pulling against the load.
Turntable or rotary arm?
A turntable wrapper turns the pallet and suits most stable loads. A rotary-arm wrapper turns the film around a pallet that stays still, which suits very heavy, tall or unstable loads and lines where pallets arrive on conveyors.
Which film do the machines use?
The pallet wrappers use LLDPE stretch film up to 500 mm wide on rolls up to 280 mm in diameter. The orbital wrappers use narrower rolls from 76 to 250 mm wide.
