Automatic cartoning machines
A cartoner takes a flat carton, opens it, loads the product and closes both ends by tuck-in folding or hot-melt glue, at 30 to 260 boxes per minute. These machines suit blisters, bottles, injectables and other boxed products, and the banding machines bundle boxes with a film band or overwrap them. They are built by our manufacturing partners and sold, shipped and supported by Lion Packing Systems.

Automatic cartoners for blisters
The YCZ-125 cartoners take blister cards, bottles or vials and fold them into boxes up to 165 × 83 × 53 mm. The YCZ-125G adds an in-feed baffle, the YCZ-125K is built for injectables and the YCZ-125P for bottles, while the YCZ-130 runs up to 130 boxes per minute. All close by tuck-in folding or Nordson hot-melt glue and need 1.5 kW and compressed air at 0.3–0.5 MPa.
| Model | Product | Speed (boxes/min) | Box L × W × H (mm) | Machine size (mm) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| YCZ-125B | Blisters | 30–100 | 65–125 × 30–83 × 10–53 | 1850 × 1000 × 1650 |
| YCZ-125G | Blisters, with in-feed baffle | 30–85 | 48–165 × 30–83 × 10–53 | 3000 × 1000 × 1650 |
| YCZ-125K | Injectables | 30–85 | 120–165 × 30–83 × 13–53 | 1850 × 1000 × 1650 |
| YCZ-125P | Bottles | 30–100 | 65–125 × 30–83 × 20–53 | 2850 × 1000 × 1650 |

High-speed automatic cartoners
For higher volumes, these cartoners run 30 to 260 boxes per minute. The YCZ-120S feeds products in a straight line and closes with hot-melt glue; the others close by tuck-in folding or hot-melt glue. All need compressed air at 0.3–0.6 MPa.
| Model | Speed (boxes/min) | Closing | Machine size (mm) | Power, 3-phase 380 V / 50 Hz |
|---|---|---|---|---|

Automatic film banding machines
The YCK-400 groups boxes into bundles of 1 × 5, 1 × 10 or 2 × 5 and wraps a film band around them, at 15–20 bundles per minute. The BZTZ-40 overwraps boxes in PVC or BOPP film, at 20–30 packs per minute. Specifications for the YCK-200 and BZTZ-80 are available on request.

Cartoning: common questions
What does an automatic cartoning machine do?
It takes flat cartons from a magazine, opens them, pushes the product in and closes both ends by tuck-in folding or hot-melt glue. Horizontal cartoners like these are widely used for blisters, bottles, vials and other boxed products.
How fast can the cartoners run?
The YCZ-125 series runs 30–100 boxes per minute, and the high-speed YCZ-200 and YCZ-300 reach 180 and 260 boxes per minute. Real speed depends on the product, carton size and board quality.
Tuck-in or hot-melt glue: which closing should I choose?
Tuck-in closing needs no glue and makes a carton that is easy to open and close again, which is common for medicines. Hot-melt glue makes a sealed, tamper-evident carton and suits heavier products. Most models here offer both.
How does Lion support machines built by partner factories?
Lion Packing Systems is the sales agent for these machines. We check the model against your product, pack and speed, manage the order and shipping, and provide installation guidance, training and spare parts in Spanish and English.
