Vacuum packaging machines and MAP tray sealers
From a tabletop chamber machine to a thermoforming line that forms, fills and vacuum-seals packs from rollstock, these 20 models cover meat, seafood, cheese, ready meals, fresh-cut produce and dry goods. They are built by our manufacturing partners and sold, shipped and supported by Lion Packing Systems.

Chamber vacuum machines
Bags go into the chamber, the lid closes, and the machine draws the vacuum and heat-seals the bag. Tabletop and floor-standing single-chamber models suit butchers, delis, restaurants and small processors. On double-chamber models one chamber runs while the operator loads the other, so output per operator is higher.

Vertical, pumping and thermoforming vacuum machines
The LP-DZ-420 holds the bag upright, which suits loose and liquid-rich products. The LP-ZKW-850 is a free-standing pumping vacuum machine. The LP-ZDZK continuous machines form packs from rollstock, then fill, vacuum-seal and cut them in one pass: Y models run rigid bottom film, R models flexible film. The compact LP-XCXZK machines work the same way; their specifications are available on request.
| Model | Type | Pump (m³/h) | Cycle (s) | Dimensions (mm) | Power | Weight (kg) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| LP-DZ-420 | Vertical bag | 20 | 15–40 | 495 × 530 × 800 | 220 V / 50 Hz, 1.0 kW | 80 |
| LP-ZKW-850 | Pumping | 20 | 40–60 | 1100 × 900 × 1700 | 220 V / 50 Hz, 2.25 kW | 132 |

Modified atmosphere (MAP) tray sealers
Modified atmosphere packaging replaces the air in the tray with a protective gas mix before the film lid is sealed, so fresh products keep their color and texture for longer without freezing. Choose a hand-push sealer for short runs, a semi-automatic model, or a continuous in-line sealer fed by a tray conveyor. All of them need compressed air at 0.6 MPa or more.
| Model | Type | Air (MPa) | Speed (cycles/h) | Dimensions (mm) | Power | Weight (kg) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| LP-SDZK-400 | Hand-push | ≥ 0.6 | 120–240 | 1100 × 1000 × 1900 | 380 V / 50 Hz, 4.0 kW | 200 |
| LP-TSB-450 | Semi-automatic | 0.6–0.8 | 120–240 | 1800 × 1400 × 1750 | 380 V / 50 Hz, 8.0 kW | 600 |
| LP-LXFH-463 | Continuous | ≥ 0.6 | 120–240 | 2300 × 850 × 1820 | 380 V / 50 Hz, 5.0 kW | 300 |
| LP-LXFH-590 | Continuous | ≥ 0.6 | 120–240 | 2600 × 1100 × 1750 | 380 V / 50 Hz, 6.0 kW | 500 |
| LP-TSB-570 | Continuous | ≥ 0.6 | 180–240 | 4370 × 1080 × 1900 | 380 V / 50 Hz, 7.0 kW | 1000 |

Vacuum and MAP packaging: common questions
What is the difference between vacuum packaging and MAP?
Vacuum packaging removes the air and seals the film tightly around the product. Modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) removes the air and replaces it with a gas mix, usually nitrogen and carbon dioxide, so the pack keeps its shape. Vacuum suits meat, cheese and dry goods; MAP suits products that would be crushed or deformed, such as fresh-cut produce, ready meals and sliced meats on trays.
Which vacuum packaging machine should I choose?
It depends on your volume and your pack. For small or mixed batches a single-chamber machine is enough. For steady manual work a double-chamber model gives more output per operator. For high volumes a thermoforming machine forms and seals packs automatically at 200–400 cycles per hour. Send us your product, pack size and target output and we will recommend a model.
Can the machines run on our local power supply?
The catalogue lists 220 V or 380 V at 50 Hz, and other voltages are available. Tell us your local supply when you request a quote and the machine is built for it.
How does Lion support machines built by partner factories?
Lion Packing Systems is the sales agent for these machines. We check the model against your product, pack and speed, manage the order and shipping, and provide installation guidance, training and spare parts in Spanish and English.
Sealing fruit cups or jars rather than trays? Our own fruit cup and jar lines fill, seal and pasteurize up to 7,200 cups per hour.
