Automatic carton sealers
A carton sealer tapes the top and bottom seams of each case as it passes through, with kraft paper or BOPP tape 48–72 mm wide. These machines run at 20 to 27 m/min, from compact mini sealers to guarded and corner-type models for busy lines. They are built by our manufacturing partners and sold, shipped and supported by Lion Packing Systems.
Which carton sealer fits your cases?
Automatic carton sealers · FJ-1A series
The FJ-1A sealers tape cases from 150 mm long, with no upper length limit, 120–480 mm wide and 120–480 mm high, at 20 m/min. The MH-FJ-1A runs on 220 V and the MH-FJ-1AE on 380 V; specifications for the MH-FJ-1AW and MH-FJ-1AWE are available on request.

Automatic and pneumatic carton sealers
The MH-FJ-1AWS is a compact sealer for narrow cases from 95 mm wide with 48 mm tape. The MH-FJ-1D takes wider cases up to 620 mm and the MH-FJ-1S up to 440 mm. The MH-FJ-2 is a pneumatic sealer for cases up to 470 mm wide and 450 mm high.

Carton sealers with safety guard
A safety guard protects operators on busy lines. The MH-FJ-3A and MH-FJ-3AE seal cases up to 550 × 480 × 480 mm at 20 m/min, the MH-FJ-3AR seals with tape or hot-melt glue at up to 45 cases per minute, and the pneumatic MH-FJ-3B runs at 27 m/min.

Automatic and corner-type carton sealers
The MH-FJ-3D takes long cases from 300 to 1,400 mm at 22 m/min. The MH-FJ-P1 is a corner-type automatic sealer for cases up to 670 × 480 × 500 mm, and the LP-501AW is a compact 220 V sealer for standard cases.

Automatic and mini carton sealers
The LP-502D takes tall cases up to 600 mm high and the LP-601AW cases up to 500 × 400 × 450 mm, both at 22 m/min. The MA mini sealer is a compact 800 × 920 mm unit for 48–60 mm tape; specifications for the MD and MAX mini sealers are available on request.

Carton sealing: common questions
What does an automatic carton sealer do?
It tapes the top and bottom seams of a filled case as belts carry it through the machine, so one operator or a conveyor line can seal cases continuously.
Which tape can I use?
Kraft paper tape or BOPP plastic tape, 48–72 mm wide on most models (48 mm on the MH-FJ-1AWS and 48–60 mm on the MA mini sealer). The MH-FJ-3AR can also seal with hot-melt glue.
Which case sizes fit?
Most models take cases from 150 mm long with no upper length limit, 120–480 mm wide and 120–480 mm high. For larger cases choose the MH-FJ-1D (up to 620 mm wide), the LP-502D (up to 600 mm high) or the MH-FJ-3D (up to 1,400 mm long).
