Smart automation

AI and robotics built into the line

Three machines take over the jobs that are hardest to do well by hand: finding the segment lines on every fruit, checking every seal, and stacking heavy cases.

AIStep 04

AI vision segmenting

A camera reads each peeled fruit and the AI finds its segment lines, so the machine separates it into clean, whole segments.

  • Adjusts to every fruit's size and shape
  • Cuts follow the natural segment lines
  • Replaces manual segmenting work

AIStep 12

AI seal inspection

After pasteurization, a camera photographs every cup and the AI judges each seal. Faulty cups are rejected automatically.

  • Checks every cup, not samples
  • Keeps up with full line speed
  • Faulty cups removed before quarantine
Watch it run →

ROBOTStep 16

Robot palletizer

A robot arm stacks finished cases onto pallets in the pattern you set, ready for the warehouse or the container.

  • Programmable stacking patterns
  • No heavy manual lifting
  • Steady pallets, shift after shift

Process flow

16 steps from fruit to pallet

Processing, filling, sealing and pasteurization run as one continuous line sized to the same hourly throughput. Coded cups then go through a quarantine of 10+ days before release to sleeve or case packing and robot palletizing.

Receiving, grading & washing

A roller grader sorts incoming fruit by size, then a bubble washer removes leaves and soil.

Watch it run →

Scalding

Hot water or steam loosens the peel for 40–90 s, adjusted to variety and ripeness.

Watch it run →

Peeling

Roller peeler strips the skin; manual trim stations catch any remaining peel.

Watch it run →

AI vision segmenting

A camera and AI locate the segment lines on each peeled fruit, then the machine separates it into whole segments.

Watch it run →

Membrane removal

In the membrane peeling tower, a dilute acid then alkali bath dissolves the membrane, followed by a pure water rinse.

Watch it run →

Grading

A roller gap grading machine and mesh sorting conveyor grade segments by size and remove broken or defective segments.

Cup filling

Multi-lane volumetric filler portions segments into denested cups by weight.

Watch it run →

Checkweighing

Checkweigher right after the filler weighs every cup, then replenishes or rejects any outside the fill tolerance.

Syrup dosing & sealing

One machine tops up each cup with syrup or juice to the target net weight, then heat-seals PP or PET lidding film.

Watch it run →

Pasteurization

Hot water bath pasteurizer at 85–95 °C, then staged cooling to below 40 °C.

Metal detection

A metal detector checks every cup after pasteurization and rejects any with metal contamination.

Drying & coding

Air knives dry the cups; inkjet or laser coder prints lot and date.

AI seal inspection

Camera and AI check every seal after pasteurization; faulty cups are rejected automatically.

Watch it run →

Quarantine

Coded cups are held for 10+ days before packing, so any seal or sterility fault shows up before release.

Sleeve or case packing

Released cups are wrapped into sleeved multipacks or packed straight into cases.

Step 07 · Cup filling

Multi-lane filling, in production

Mandarin segments are portioned into cups held in stainless carrier plates, then pass the checkweigher on their way to syrup dosing and sealing. Filling heads, carriers and portion size are matched to your cup format.

  • Stainless steel carrier plates sized to your cup
  • Filling heads on every lane, one portion per cycle
  • Open, washdown-friendly frame for fast cleaning

Step 09 · Syrup dosing & sealing

A tight seal on every cup, every cycle

Syrup dosing and sealing happen in one machine. Filled cups ride in numbered stainless carriers on a chain conveyor, get their syrup or juice top-up, and then spring-loaded heated heads press the lidding film onto each cup rim.

  • Syrup dosing and heat sealing in one machine
  • Heated sealing heads with spring-loaded pressure
  • Works with PP and PET lidding film

Quality control · AI seal inspection

Every seal checked by camera, not by eye

After pasteurization and drying, a vision system photographs each cup and an AI model judges the seal. Cups with a faulty seal are removed before the 10+ day quarantine.

  • Inline camera inspection of every sealed cup
  • AI model trained to spot seal defects
  • Faulty cups rejected automatically from the line

End of line · Sleeve packing

Retail-ready multipacks, packed automatically

After the 10+ day quarantine, released cups are fed in single file, grouped into multipacks and wrapped in a printed cardboard sleeve. Cups can also go straight to case packing.

  • Released cups fed in single file after quarantine
  • Cups are grouped into packs automatically
  • Printed cardboard sleeves wrapped around each pack

Complete line: washing, peeling, segments, jar filling, capping and light inspection

Also available · Glass jar line

The same fruit, packed in glass jars

The front end of the line stays the same. For retail jars, the cup filler and sealer are replaced by jar filling, capping and inspection.

  • Jar filling with syrup top-up
  • Automatic capping for twist-off lids
  • Back-lit inspection of every filled jar
