Automatic Mandarin Segment Cup Filling Runs Smoothly Through Peru's 2026 Season

Since commissioning in March 2026, Lion Packing Systems' automatic mandarin segment cup filling system has run steadily through the entire 2026 mandarin packing season for our customer in Peru.

Three automatic lines, two clear goals

The customer installed three lines of automatic mandarin segment filling systems with two improvements in mind: lower labor costs and less raw fruit loss. Mandarin segment filling has traditionally been one of the most labor-intensive steps in fruit cup production, and automating it lets the plant fill cups consistently with fewer workers on the line.

Stable performance in a demanding season

Mandarin packing seasons are short and intense, leaving little room for downtime. Running reliably from commissioning through the season gave the customer the steady output they needed when fruit was arriving at the plant.
