Lion Packing Systems Newsletter, Fall 2026: New Machines and Vision Inspection
This fall we added two packaging machines to our lineup and started building our own machine vision inspection. Here is what is new at Lion Packing Systems, and what it means for your plant.

Our website, in English and Spanish
lionpackingsystems.com is our home online, written for buyers in Latin America in both English and Spanish. Browse the machine catalog, see our turnkey fruit canning lines, and send an inquiry that goes directly to our sales team. Please update your bookmarks and contacts to the new address.
Spotlight: Lion Automatic Tuna Packing Machine
Our automatic tuna packing machine forms cooked tuna loins and fills cans by weight, with less manual labor. It comes in two models, TP-240 and TP-480, to match your line capacity. It is built in Zhoushan, Zhejiang, at the heart of China’s fishing industry, and like every Lion machine it is designed, built and tested in-house before shipping. Installation, operator training and spare parts are part of our service.

Spotlight: SleeveWrap paper sleeve wrapper
SleeveWrap is our automatic paper sleeve wrapping machine. It runs 4-cup fruit cup multipacks at 120 packs per minute, and paper sleeves give your retail packs a premium look as a paper alternative to plastic shrink film. SleeveWrap is not only for fruit cups: it also handles single cups and bowls, 4-cup and 6-cup multipacks, can packs and bottle carriers.

From our engineering team: machine vision inspection
We are developing our own AI-based vision inspection for cup lines. The first system checks the date code printed on every lid, catching smudged, missing or crooked codes before cups leave the line. It is being designed for lines running up to 240 cups per minute, with one station covering two lanes.
We will share more as testing moves forward. If date code rejects or customer complaints are a problem in your plant, tell us. We would like to hear about it.
